Sat 3/17 - noon AND 1:40ish ride

Post by ahamilton »

Unlike Russ, I am not confident that it will be 50 degrees at 9 AM. I am going to hit the road around noon for about 1-1.5 hours for an easy-to-moderately paced ride. Flexible on start time and location if anyone else wants to join the fun.

Alan,
I agree regarding the warm part of the day. I'm looking for a decent ride, albeit perhaps a bit longer. Maybe I could ride with you for a bit, then go on. Can't commit though, so make your plan and I'll try to join.

Doug, for now I'll set a tentative start time of noon, and tentative start location of Atkinson Pool. That way you can get in 30-40 minutes before we meet. If others pipe in we can make adjustments to better suit the group.

Ick. Forecast changed a lot since I posted my morning ride. And Jim L inched even further into the cold zone.

I bailed on him and am now in for meeting at Atkinson at noon. Ride together as a group and then maybe follow Doug home to get my 2-3 hours in.

I'm not going to make it for this ride. Likely to head out around 1 or 2....solo I guess.

Doug, I can start later, and the way the temp is going, would probably prefer that. Not sure if Russ can delay his start time. Also, we could ride towards FMR country and meet you out there.

I didnt mean to hijack your ride! Since I'm hoping to do John's big ride tomorrow, I'm thinking flat-ish and moderate tempo today. Concord-Bedford. I can roll at 1, passing Atkinson pool at 1:40.

I am also planning on flattish today due to painfully hilly ride plans for tomorrow. If Russ can wait for you to join us later, I certainly can. If not, Russ and I will stick to our noon start from Atkinson.

(Bonus: A later start would allow me to watch the finish of Milan-San Remo live.)

Alan, I will head out at noon but loop back to Atkinson for the 1:40 rendezvous.
