Friday July 3rd Century ride

Post by gcdavid »

Since Saturday is the 4th, I'm going to do my LAST century ride before IMLP on Friday. Plan is to do the Climb to the Clouds route, but starting in Stow, heading to Concord-Carlisle HS, and then following the route to Wachusett and back to Stow. Pace will be not be hard. Plan is to start from Shaw's at 6:00am (could go earlier of course)

I'll probably be in as well, but not sure I can start at 5am. Gary, let's follow up with some intervals immediately following at the Maynard track (10x 1). Last sufferfest before LP.

I'm good for starting at 6:00 (sorry Russ).

I was planning on running for an hour afterward. I was going to do it from home, but can do it from Shaws too if there is a group that would like to do so.

If the monsoons have ended I would like to try. I might get dropped early but that's fine. I will also need to get this excursion approved before I can commit. Will post again soon.

Michael, I am going 'easy' (zone 2) for most of the ride. So, I doubt you'll get dropped. Would be great to ride with you.

You could do a loop. Check out the map at the link I put in the original post. You could figure out where you gals wanted to peel off and head back home.

Coley, Todd, anyone else... are folks in fact meeting at Nashoba HS at 7:15am and then planning to meet up with the early group? That would work great for me...

I just got an email from Gary that he would be at Nashoba around 730 so I will be getting there around 715. I'm planning to go watch the Fitchburg Circuit race afterwards,

I'm still in if I don't need swim fins. I will not be there if the monsoon is still on.

See you at Shaw's at 6. In for about 4 or so, need to be back home by 10:30.
