I had seen this... very sad. Not the news you like to start out the year... keep your eyes open kids, especially now. The roads are in their usual disrepair and nobody expects to see riders out there.

Yes this was shocking news this week. Have really good article with Jason in a UK cycle mag talking about his training and favourite training rides if anyone would like to read it. He was a real talent breaking Graeme Obree's 10 mile TT record last year which had stood for over 10 years.
The Scottish Cycling Union have created a donation site through the Braveheart Cycle fund.
Jason and his wife Caroline had twin girls, now eight, one of whom had a medical condition that required constant care. In recent years Jason had fitted training and racing around his commitments as her full-time carer. The aim is to raise £20,000 to cover her care costs for up to two years.
