Saturday 4/16, 6am; 4 hours
Looking at 4 hours endurance pace. Would like to check out Ride Studio Cafe along the way too if anyone's interested.

I am in. I am definitely in for the cafe. Not sure if I will go the full 4 hrs or cut it off at 3 hrs. Stow Plaza I assume.

Hey Scott,
How fast is "endurance pace"? I might join you for a little while...

JG, come along! No way this is going to be too fast. Conversational pace.

In. Warning, I'll likely be on my P3. Need to start getting some long miles in on that bike instead of the road bike.

That's OK. You can just do a 4 hour pull from the front.
Re: Saturday 4/16, 6am; 4 hours
Come along, Ryan. Scott posted it as "endurance pace" which should keep the speed manageable for everybody. I'm guessing we'll probably range in the 18-20 mph zone on the flats/bumps, a little slower on the bigger hills and whatever gravity allows on the descents.
Don't worry about being the "visible newbie", it should only last a minute or two. Besides, we're not hard-asses. Any group ride protocol/rules/tips are usually offered in a kind and friendly tone.
Since you're on a tri-bike (right?) the primary request is not to ride your aero bars while in the paceline/pack. If you need practice with them, feel free to bound ahead or drop off the back a bit.

Hey Russ (and Ryan),
18mph isn't my endurance pace even if I'm riding my Tri bike, so order me a coffee when you get to the shop and I'll be along eventually!

Jen: I just spoke to Scott and he's cool with letting the slowest rider set the pace. For he and I, it's going to be primarily small chain ring.

Great ride today everybody! Apart from needing a gas mask in Great Brook, I think everybody got what they paid for (long ride, conversation, coffee) out of it.

Great to see a lot of you guys...
Does anyone know what the mileage was round trip from the Stow Plaza? My computer on my bike was off and started my Garmin just a tad late...
I'm guessing 45-50 miles?
