FMR - 6/6 - 5:45 AM

Post by ahamilton »

Looks like the rain will be cleared out by Friday morning. I posted a 5:45 start, but could easily be convinced to do earlier or later, depending on response(s).

I just had some minor surgery on the tip of one of my shifting fingers, but I am hoping it will be good enough by tomorrow. Right now there's no way I could shift the front (and not even sure I would be comfortable enough to ride at all), so either I big ring it up Coburn and Ball Hill (Ha!) or bail. But I really want to be there, so even if it's marginal I'll show up and give it a whirl.

Good news future FMRers. They resurfaced the ugliest part of the lollipop stick. It's a beautiful thing. And I'd be willing to bet everyone's coffee that the lollipop itself will have its creamy topcoat by next Friday. (Was surprised it wasn't done by today, but oh well.)
