2023 WNR from Assabet River Bikes

Post by djming »

We're back! Officially starting 4/12.
Rolling at 5:30PM sharp from Assabet River Bicycles, 90 Cherry St, Hudson

-- Have the route loaded on your cycling computer or know the roads well enough to make your own way back to the start! --

A Group
The A group is at race pace with aggressive assaults of the hills and attacks at any time at any place. Expect minimal to no stopping or easing of the pace. There will be a "soft" regroup at Harvard Center

B Group
Although a 'no-drop' ride this is a hard training ride with a fast pace line on the flatter sections and aggressive assaults on the hills. There will regroups atop the hills. Full regroup in Harvard Center.

C Group will be an easier pace ride where all stay together and typically led by members of Nashoba Valley Pedalers

--- safety first! — all rules of the road must be obeyed ---

The routes:
A: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42514732
B: (same as the A, but skip Fruitlands): https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42514754
B-: (straight in from Harvard center): https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42514767
C: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42514776

Notes:
C group/route may change week to week.
The split between B and B- will be determined by one of the ride leaders based on how separated people are after Oak Hill and in Harvard Center (also to be clarified at the start of each ride)
Everyone starts together, rolling out lined up by group. "Neutral" roll for first 2K until lights at Manning & Cox. Once thru the lights, the A's take off and the other groups follow in line.
