KING’S TOUR OF THE QUABBIN

Start/finish: Hardwick Winery, 3305 Greenwich Road, Hardwick, MA

Cost: $40 for Seven Hills Wheelmen members, $50 for nonmembers, until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.
On-site registration on ride day costs $10 more.

• Road metric (64 miles, 4936 feet of climbing)
  Rest stops at mile 28 (Rt. 202 in Pelham) and mile 48 (Petersham Common)
  
  Road century (101 miles, 6225 feet of climbing)
  Rest stops at mile 28 (Rt. 202 in Pelham), mile 58 (Leverett Village Co-op store), and mile 85 (Petersham Common)
  Road century riders get $5 toward food/drink at Leverett Village Co-op.
  
  Gravel Loop (approx. 75 miles, approx. half unpaved)
  Rest stops at mile 28 (Petersham Common) and mile 60 (Petersham Common again)
  
  Little Gravel (approx. 40 miles, approx. half unpaved)
  Rest stop at mile 28 (Petersham Common)

Both road routes go to the Quabbin tower, with amazing views of the Quabbin Reservoir. The road metric goes all the way around the reservoir. The road century goes to South Deerfield, where the summit of Mount Sugarloaf offers stunning views of the Connecticut River.

Routes will not be arrowed. Printed cue sheets will be available at the start. Ridewithgps links will be emailed to online registrants the week before the ride.
