KING’S TOUR OF THE QUABBIN

Start/finish: Hardwick Winery, 3305 Greenwich Road, Hardwick, MA

Cost: $50 for Seven Hills Wheelmen members, $70 for nonmembers, until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1.
Non-member registrants are given a Seven Hills Wheelmen membership ($25 value) for the remainder of 2025.

On-site registration on ride day costs $10 more.

ROUTES:
  • Road metric (64 miles, 4987 feet of climbing) - New route for 2025: Bike to the Quabbin Tower and then loop south, all on paved roads. No riding on Route 202! Rest stops in Palmer and New Braintree.

    Road century (101 miles, 6225 feet of climbing) - Bike to the Quabbin tower for amazing views of the reservoir. Rest stops at mile 28 (Rt. 202 in Pelham), mile 58 (Leverett Village Co-op store), and mile 85 (Petersham Common). Road century riders get $5 toward food/drink at Leverett Village Co-op. Stunning views of Connecticut River from summit of Mount Sugarloaf in South Deerfield.

    Gravel Loop (77 miles, approx. half unpaved) - Rest stops at mile 28 (Petersham Common) and mile 60 (Petersham Common again).

    Little Gravel (44 miles, approx. half unpaved) - Rest stop at mile 28 (Petersham Common). Options for the last couple of miles: "hard" finish or "easy" finish.
It’s not a race.

Routes will not be arrowed. Printed cue sheets will be available at the start. Ridewithgps links will be emailed to online registrants the week before the ride.

Start times: 7:00-9:00 a.m.
