Just an FYI - I'll be heading out solo but going straight from my house in Acton up to Littleton. I'm sure you guys will blow by me somewhere on that hill - I'll be wearing a very subtle neon green jersey... My wife makes me wear it whenever it might get a little dark. Gotta stay safe you know...

Big shout of thanks to everyone for the motivation to ride last night and ride hard once we got going. I'm stick finding road grit in my ears.
Watching Len "The Turbo-Diesel" pull up Oak Hill while in a 53 x 15 (?) was very impressive.
Diane: did you make a wrong turn when you rode ahead? Hope you made it back OK.

I took a that right off 110 ( Liberty Sq ) and road near the Littleton train station then took a left onto Sanderson rd ??
I then beared Left - probably should have gone Right .
No Big deal , as my goal was/ is to try to reinforce a higher pace than my own. I am still trying to improve drastically on the Hills.
I am getting a better sense - this year as to how fast / strong one needs to be to "hang ".
I seem to be better able to hang on those super flat sections , but have to keep stepping it up to stay with you Guys on those " Gentle slopes "
Glad to read that you Have " Your legs back ! "

Favorite quote (ok, a paraphrase) from Smudger during this ride, right after I crossed wheels with Pattie, and very nearly went down in front of the rest of the paceline:
Everyone should follow the person in front of them by half an inch, er... I mean a half a WHEEL!

I guess no one is going to want to be near your wheel
