Saturday group ride

looking to get a good group ride in. 2.5 - 3 hrs. weather looks dry, not too cold. can meet @ the Pic, somewhat centrally located. can either head north toward resevoir/ mountain or west -( if Rob comes, he had a great route last week towards Purgatory). steady effort boys - no hammerfest, but no 'winter pace' gabfest. April's coming fast. post up if interested.

I can start at the Pic or Berlin Park 'n Ride pretty much any time after 9:30. No real time limit, except for that imposed by weak legs. Will monitor board to see what the consensus is, then adjust to match.

I may swing in to wherever everyone is to say hi, but don't wait for me. I think I'm heading towards something that looks like an incline to ride up it repeatedly...

I'll be at the Pic at 10. I'd rather do the reservoir loop. If people are interested, there are some good hills in Boylston / northborough.
wunderground.com says 36 degrees and sun at 10 AM

O.K. - Pic @ 10. Rob, if you're riding from Grafton, we can roll down to Westboro center ( ETA 10:10ish) and pick you up. then you can take us West or Carl can take us North. lemme know.

What I found out today:
I can't climb a hill for more than 25 seconds without dropping into my 39/27
Jorge (Ramirez) would crush me if George Street was tomorrow.
A 10mph headwind is enough to push me backwards
I need to start doing something during the week if I want to be able to hold a wheel on the weekend
One-ear-Doug can pull into a headwind long enough for me to forget there's any wind
I forgot how good it feels to be exausted and sore after a ride
I also forgot it was possible to be sore after riding 40 miles at only 17mph
Weeks since I started "training" : 4
Rides in 2009: 4
Rides I need before I'm halfway in shape: 11
