Would not mind starting out with you guys - do not feel obligated to wait if I get dropped ... I will get there some day !
I hope to do 2 hrs .
Are you doing a hilly corse ? I will have a 23 ( unless you have a 25/27 9 spd shimano you want to unload : )

I am getting a new Granny for my Seven , and she is going to be really OLD !!

Here is the course and the plan:
Will head from Bolton to Sterling where we will head up to Mile Hill Road. We will loop back on 62 to return the couple people that can only do 3 hours. We will add one more hour of fun. I am happy to loop back after each set on my rest sets to re-group. Pace will be 18 - 20 MPH+

4 Hour Bike:

WU:
20-30' @ 65-70%/z1-2/Easy

MS:
* 2 x 20' (5') @ T/z4-5
* 10' Easy
* 3 x 20' (2') @ 80-85%/z3
*Remainder of ride time is @75-80%/z2, in the aerobars, practicing steady riding: no surges,constant power, etc

All, when I flatted on the first loop- juts pas the rough RR tacls before hitting 62- I also discovered a nice gash/slice in my tire. Thus I headed home for a change of bikes- I did get my 200 in, but my knee seriously hurt the last 30 or so- so thats a major bummer. My legs are fine this morning, but I am bumming about the knee..........

Sorry to hear that you flatted. Boy, that knee is not clearing up. Glad to here that you got in your miles, but it sounds like you suffered some. We had a good ride. We lost Mike coming down on 62 when he turned and went but up to the mtn again but we all were able to re-connect for the run at my house. It was quite the ride and a perfect group.

Cheers

Steve
