Upton works for me as well. Anything I can ride to works. Upton center? State Park? Or closer to W-boro so Todd could meet easily also? Name it. 9:30?

How About:

9:30 Westborough center at the Red Barn. Go down down 135 to Upton Rd (which becomes Westborough Rd in Upton). We can pick up Cole and Rob somewhere along there or Upton center. Decide where to go from there.

If this is too complicated we can just meet at the Pic at 9:30!

Why don't we meet at the Roche Bros plaza (Bay State Commons) at 9:30am. Collect anyone there. Then we'll ride up 135 into Hopkinton and turn down Spring St and head towards the Upton State Park lot on Southboro Rd. I think Michael can meet us at Spring and Pond or ride backwards to meet us. That work?

Why don't we meet behind Roche Bros where you parked last time. For anyone else, it's the lot right behind the store when you drive in and are facing the store. it's an easy roll-out to the rotary.

WTF?

That's three times this year that I've missed an on-route meeting.

I don't know how this one got fouled up. I left home early enough to beat you guys there by plenty of time.

I double checked the route that you guys were taking. I came over Pond street to Spring and was there by just after 930. (You couldn't have beaten me there unless you left Roche Bros at 9:15) Then I took Spring st to 135 all the way to Roche Bros.

Almost got killed in the Westborough rotary by some moron in a BMW who felt like he had the right to cut me off even though I was already IN the rotary and he was trying to enter it. He forced me into the curb on the inside while I'm swatting his rear door with my right hand. When we exited the rotary I followed him down route 30 for a minute and watched him almost hit an old woman in the crosswalk by Church St. WTF?

Circled back to Roche Bros. and decided I was out for a solo ride, so I headed towards Grafton. I'm almost into Grafton on W Main St when I see some cars up ahead of me pull to the side of the road and the occupants quickly jump out. When I got there a few seconds later I hear them asking a woman across the street what had happened.

Her Mercedes SUV had rolled down her driveway, shot across the road and buried itself in the brush on the other side of the road.

So that's twice in 15 minutes that I narrowly missed being squashed by a luxury SUV. And I'm riding solo without knowing why. And I forgot to mention that I got chased by a dog on Pond St.

I think someone out there didn't want me riding today.

We left Roche Bros right at 9:30 and followed the route exactly. We rode up to Upton State Park when no one was at Pond/Spring since we mentioned that and then rode Spring St to 135 back and forth for 20+ minutes. We then waited at Pond/Spring waiting for a call and then rode Pond St back towards Hopkinton to see if we'd meet you. Unless you came out of Pond just after we passed it heading up to Upton SP I don't know how we missed you. Please call in the future and we could have ridden back towards Westboro. We didn't leave the Pond St area until 10:15.
