Rick, that is a great race venue, and reasonably close to the Metro area. I highly recommend it myself. If I was in shape and not on vacation in a foreign country, I'd be there.

rick g , whoever you are, I'm probable for this, since I will not be in a foreign country. just not sure what field. assuming they will combine masters . will do 45+ or 3/4. make a call end of week.

I rode the Cat 5 35+ race. It was a small field with about 30 starters which in some ways was nice since the roads are narrow. I placed about 13th with the main group, similar to my placing 2 years ago (pre-MRC). It is a fun course with rollers and one short hill - the final turn is a bit touch and go before the final hill. Short laps at about 2.3 miles and about 19 miles total.
