Wachusett?

Does anyone know if the summit road up Wachusett is open?
The construction started the day after memorial day. I haven't been up since. Based on my conversations with the ranger, they are renovating the entire top of the mountain. Additionally, they will be tearing the up road or the down road to lay more conduit, pipes, etc.
My guess is that you could probably get up one side of the mountain on a weekend....
