Mt Wachussett Summit - is it open?

is the road to the summit open yet? can you hike across the snow fields?

I heard the answer is no right now. It was from one of the Monsters guys. But I have to believe after this week, it may be possible.

Not yet. I was out there on Saturday and did a few 140/62/mountain road loops and there were still ski trails open on the road. Lots of bare spots but not passable and I assume it's fairly deep higher up. I was pretty surprised at how much snow they still had. My kids skied all day.
