With some of the "MRC East" riders (Richard, David, etc.) we have been talking about a long ride this Saturday.

So 7 AM from Concord Center, where the "island" is in front of the Colonial Inn. We will go 3 hours from there. Hit some hills on the way. Probably go through Concord (Strawberry Hill Rd), Acton (Nagog Hill Road), then Westford, then Dunstable, hit NH, then back. I will work on a route.

Some of us will be riding there from home (both from Winchester and from Acton), so getting more like 4 hours total. Hopefully we can get a good contingent. If someone wants to meet me in Acton to ride there, just email me. Leaving at 6:30 AM from Acton.

Don't worry about pace, Jenn. I'm (hopefully) bringing along new junior member "Ace" Ensign and we'll be doing "B" pacing. We will leave Stow Plaza at 6:30.

In, Jere will plan to swing by your place at 6:10?

UPDATE: I need to be at Pompo Elementary School by 10am (ok to show up on my bike) so wherever the route goes, I just need to be back in Stow by then.

Here is the route that I suggest we follow:
http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1103248

Goes through Westford which is an area we rarely go. Then through Dunstable, into NH, then back. We will adjust based on pace.

Great ride everyone. Sorry to the guys in the middle of the B group and A group. I hope you found your way around OK. Next time I will do a better job of indicating the expected pace of the ride, but sometimes that really depends on who shows up. In this case, there were some strong riders there so the A group rode quite strong.
