I am riding out of Westborough at 7 AM from the Roche Brother's parking lot down to Webster and back. 60 miles or so with a bunch of hills. Multiple bailouts if the weather turns to shit.

I was thinking of a very similar Purgatory route for Saturday AM. I have a hard constraint to be home by 9 so i need to start fairly early. It might be asking too much but could we rendezvous at 7 instead of 7:30? About the only landmark I know in Northbridge is the BK on 122 but feel free to educate me....

If you guys don't like the earlier start, no worries and I'll just fly solo.

Starting earlier is no problem for me. How about we meet at the bottom of Shining Rock Road in northbridge? Looks like 14 miles from your house.

I'd recommend we aim for 6:30. That should give you a little bit more breathing room to get back for 9.

In. Talking to Chris this AM, 7 may be fine (if not preferable) for a meet up time with him. He can confirm this. I can do earlier, but could do with an extra 30 mins of sleep.

See you at the corner of shining rock drive and school street at 7:00am. Can you confirm it's THAT end of shining rock drive that you were referring to?

Yes - that's it. That intersection is right before Northbridge center. I like the climb up hartford and the decent down shining rock so I'd figure we could meet right there. If you are feeling motivated you should try the climb.

I'll be there as well. 7:00 might be a bit optimistic with the route that's posted. If you guys are on a 24+mph pace after the climb out of Westboro, Grafton Rd and Shining Rock I'll be impressed (since the bottom of Shining Rock is 12.2 miles into the ride). Chris and I could always go down 122, up Benson to the water tower and backtrack down Fowler to burn some time and meet on the route.

Stefan and I can do those climbs in 30 minutes. But just in case we have a mechanical or there is a unicorn sighting we better start at 6:15.
