Minuteman Road Club

Peeps, a few of us are planning a long ride this Saturday at 11am from the usual FMR coffee shop in Berlin. Weather looks moderately good. The final route hasn't been determined but expect 50 miles or so around the reservoir. I plan on adding bonus miles to 75 if anyone is interested, but the main route will be shorter to allow higher participation.

It's all good, flatted 30 min in when that pickup truck almost took us out! Didn't want to hold up the group. Congrats on you mega miles today!

Friendly note to all group ride participants: if you start to fall off the back and don't think you can rejoin OR have a mechanical and want to let the group ride on (you are sure you are good on your own), please let the others know so they don't have to spend time riding back to find out what happened to you. As much as everyone should be aware of who is in the group and what the group count is, in a larger ride, this can be difficult.

I've added this to the Group Ride Guidelines and Etiquette thread.

EDIT: I see this has already been covered in the No-drop ride section: "If someone WANTS to be dropped, they MUST let the last person ahead of them know they are dropping out or taking a different route."
