Sunday 10/3 9AM start Westborough

meet at 9AM at the Roche Brother's parking lot (back side). 3 1/2 hours or so. I need to start earlier tomorrow to please the Family. Regroup at the top of hills, etc.
I will likely head south but I could be convinced to ride north around the Wachussett Reservoir (with a little bit of extra). The roads around the reservoir are sometimes better in the snow than the more rural roads to the South.

In. I'm riding there so I'd vote for a southerly route which I can break from since i need to get home for 11. Purgatory/douglas works also.

I tried to assemble a ride that would a) use major roads and b) contain enough "features" for a four hour ride. That being said, there are numerous bailout points to make the ride shorter. I am still concerned that back roads will still be very messy (e.g: some of the roads that we have ridden on on the Franklin rides, like the road near the Southwick zoo).

A couple of comments regarding no-drop rides / dropping rides. First of all, I hope this isn't an over excessive feeling of political correctness since I was dropped last weekend. The facts are:
1) I went out too hard and too long (I started from my house)
2) My power went to 140 watts during the middle of the bullet train loop and stayed there while I limped home. Limping home from concord isn't much fun.
3) We should have hammer rides but only when we agree on the ride route from the beginning
4) I need liposuction

Carl, I for 1 am sorry that happened last week. I know what it's like getting stranded, it sucks. You are right we need to do a better job keeping track of our people.
