Headed out to the Wachusett area on Monday for a 2x20 climbing workout at race pace. Looking for sparring partners to chase and to chase me.
Rolling out from Stow Shaws Plaza at 10AM.
General Plan
•Endurance pace through Lancaster, up past Davis Farm, and through Sterling center.
•Interval 1: This http://app.strava.com/segments/663049 followed by this http://app.strava.com/segments/1343825 to give you 20ish minutes.
•Endurance pace past the ranger station. Riders that get seriously dropped on the first interval head directly to the summit here. Descend down past the ski area. Don’t worry you will get the opportunity to climb the summit next.
•Interval 2: Something like this: http://app.strava.com/segments/951603 but going up the up road instead.
•Endurance pace back the way we came.
If your worried about hanging on we can adjust time on the front accordingly and my endurance pace is actually really slow. There are also numerous bailout options to head back early or only do one climb.
Can meet others on the road if more convenient.
