White Mountains ride on Tuesday 6/18

Following on the heels of last month's Berkshire ride, we’re doing a weekday White Mountains ride on Tuesday (June 18th). As of now there are several MRC guys going and several 545 guys going. Yes it’s on a Tuesday, but what better use of a vacation day then an all day bike ride?
We’ll be keeping the pace up, but with several large climbs we’ll be able to regroup at the summits. For those familiar with the “4 Notches and a Pass” route, this is a slight variation that heads out of Lincoln via the bike path to Franconia (should be quiet on a Tuesday AM), then through Crawford Notch, up Bear Notch (up and down in fact) then into North Conway for a short lunch stop. From there it’s the full Kanc back to Lincoln, with the last 15 miles downhill/flat.
Details:
Total ride distance = 109 miles, 7800 foot vertical
Stop at 45-ish miles (quick stop to refuel at the bottom of Bear Notch) and 68-ish miles (quick sandwich in North Conway).
Start is actually in North Woodstock (see RideWithGPS map for start point). There’s a cool little coffee shop there with a big outdoor deck. Park anywhere around there. Carpooling will be likely.
Clip in at 9:00am, we should be back to the cars by 4pm.
