Saturday 2/22 midday ride from Stow or thereabouts

I'm stuck in Vermont with a broken trainer. Today I did a sweet spot workout at 34mph, I thought the wheel was going to explode. Anyway I have a point:
I'm proposing a really long (and somewhat fast) ride on Saturday. It's going to be 47 freakin degrees. 80 miles anyone?
I'd like a 10 or 11am start.
Who's in?

I'm willing to ride at any pace, but I'll ride the hills at a high pace and don't mind regrouping at the top.

In from Stow, also looking for a faster pace. Which direction were you thinking about heading? Some elevation gain would be good to work in now.

If it helps Mark maybe I can talk the guys into heading out to the climbs in your neck of the woods. I’m looking for some decent “threshold” work, nothing too wild though. : )

I'd have to get started a bit earlier so I can be home in a "timely" fashion.

Can I put in a plug for earlier? Like 8 or 9? Longer attainable distance, less melting slop, not too cold, home at a reasonable hour, etc.
Still just lurking though.

I endorse this message.

Lurking for an adventure!! Decision will be based on how massive the melt is over the next two days. Wife gave me the eye when the news came on about melt and warm temps over the weekend. Thinking I'll stash the bike tomorrow so she sees nothing....

Lurker:
In Internet culture, a lurker is typically a member of an online community who observes, but does not actively participate
Anyone out there want to participate in a bicycle ride?

I'm a tentative yes, depending on start time (9ish is better for me too) and general road sloppiness.

Wish I could, but I'm simply not in shape enough yet for higher-pace long hauls. Also going to make use of the afternoon warmth...
Hopefully in on these by March

How do you guys feel about heading out past Davis farm in Sterling, taking 62 up to Princeton center, and then onto the WAWA ranger station. Maybe take Justice hill back? Should give 80ish, anybody wanting to add more can at the end. Not crazy pace but enough to make it a “build period” training ride.
