Only 9 of us lined up for the elite race. Pretty cold and VERY windy. Short course with a log dismount, sand, 1 set of barriers, a short run up, a short hill, loose gravel road and a little mud. Yarosh took the holeshot and I was behind him for a lap, then I took the lead. Harris caught up to me shortly after, and it was just us for the rest of the race. He was stronger than me in the power sections, slower than me in the corners. On the last lap he started to pull away by a couple of seconds, I finished a second or two behind him. I felt like I was lacking power, usually I'm better in power sections compared to corners but it was strangely the opposite today. A win was very possible but 2nd is still good.
Didn't see any MRC guys there... scared off by the riots? :) Its a good race with generous prize $ at a very scenic venue not that far away, put this race on your list for next year.

Nice job Patrick. I was worried about breathing in too much tear gas.

Great results keep coming - keep it up! Regarding next year, the bikeman.com Casco Bay race is the best course I've done all year and definitely top 5 favorites.

Nice Patrick! Both Keene and Casco were on my radar but I need some non-race weekends built in the season (unfortunately!)
