Early vSMR on Zwift Island
Posted: Fri Feb 27, 2015 8:44 am
Going to be riding on Zwift Island tomorrow. Need to start early so I can get things done later in the day. I'll start the bidding at 6:00 AM, but can start as late as 6:30 if the critical mass wants to ride later. Since you can join in near a particular rider, anyone not wanting to start early can join in at any time.
No particular agenda other than get in a good workout. Tempo with some KOM and sprint fun is the probable format.
Today Kevin and I had live audio via TeamSpeak. A fellow Zwifter has set up a TeamSpeak server and Kevin set up an MRC channel so we can chat/heckle each other while riding. All you need is a mic and speakers or a headset and this info:
TeamSpeak website and to download here: http://www.teamspeak.com/
Dedicated Server info to connect with client: Server address: ts32.gameservers.com:9308
There is a password needed for the TeamSpeak server and another for the private MRC channel. PM me for that info. One thing worth mentioning is that there are several choices for talking, but "push-to-talk" seems to be best suited due to the noise level while riding. You can pick a key or key combo to use when you want to talk. If you use this method be careful not to choose one that Zwift uses. I chose "z" which worked.
