Climb To The Clouds 10am Sat 24 May

Post by greenr81 »

Greetings,

Any interest in a Climb To The Clouds century on Saturday? Little later start - 10am'ish. Looking to pace around 19-21mph, maybe a bit faster depending on the group. I have only done this ride one other time, and it ran upwards of 120miles with a few wrong turns (even with a cue sheet) - so hopefully someone who knows the course a bit better wants to come with. Short T-run to close out the afternoon...if the ride doesn't turn into a time-trial :D

I assume you mean ride the CttC course? The CRW century is July 20th on their website.

This is a great ride. MRC always has a large contingent. I was just surprised when you say May 24th.

Sorry, should have been a bit more clear - you got it, just riding the course for a training session. Nothing to do with the organized ride in July. Start/end at the Concord-Carlisle High School.

CttC is a very good ride. You should be able to find your way without a cue sheet just following the painted arrows on the pavement along the route.

This is the symbol:

CttC Arrow

All turns and major intersections are marked with the arrow pointing the direction you are supposed to go.

Might end up going out for an 8-hour brick in Reading instead. Will update the post when those plans firm up.
