Minuteman Road Club

Kevin T and I are taking over the coordination of the weekly Landry's rides from Jeremy.
From the looks of things, will be a chilly early morning this Saturday, plus a good number of us will be doing a Quabbin recon ride later this morning.
Who can step up this week as ride leaders?

7AM Saturday from Westboro Landry's shop, back parking area. Need 3 group leaders, and if possible more than 1 per group:
1. A - 45-50 miles 18-20mph
2. B - 35-40 miles 17-18mph
3. C - 25 miles or less, 15mph or less (this will require a patient ride who can teach proper group ride technique)

The leader for each group will determine a route. With that said, we have a bunch of routes we can use on Strava and RidewithGPS.

A reminder and an update.
Anyone?? There are only 14 of us planning to be out around the Quabbin this Saturday, so I know somebody's available
There's a new email established for these rides: rides@minutemanroadclub.com. If you can't make it this week, but know of a definite Saturday in the next few you could, please send an email. That way, I'll be sure to bug you as we get closer to your preferred date..
Also, from Mike Cahill at Landry's if the weather looks questionable (precip, cold temps, whatever he determines) he will make a cancellation call by 6PM Friday. That info will be posted here plus emailed out to anyone who has committed.
Good chance it will be a small group once again this week, so if combining groups like last week is a consensus and makes sense for the abililties of those there, then that's fine. Last Saturday's (2nd) route could be an option.

I'll help out. Like I told Mark, my GPS is garbage and doesn't do routing and I'm pretty new to the area. I can bring the up the rear/help out those who fall off the back though.

The codes I'll be using are as follows:
ALL - made the ride but it ended up being all one group
A,B,C - ride leader of that specific group for that date
X - available or made the ride but not a designated ride leader
NO - absolutely not available the specific date
YES - can be available that specific date (example - I'm not going to Battenkill, so I'll definitely be available for the 5/21 date)

So, please continue to post up availability for the current week. Weekly, I'll start new topics sometime Monday for that Saturday.
If you see future dates that you can definitely be available or absolutely can not be available, please email that to rides@minutemanroadclub.com

One more thing - I'll go thru Saturdays with races and check for reg'd riders and also the race team spreadsheet and fill those in as a NO (already started for Quabbin), so no need to inundate me with emails about "I'm racing this day"

I may be able to be there. I would be a C or at most B ride leader as I may be racing on Sunday.
