Jeremy told MoVi to do some long hills so I'm taking him to Wachusett on Sunday.
The plan is to meet at the Dunkin Donuts on route 12 in Sterling at 8AM, then do the north row/hobbs/pine hill/wachusett for the first ascent followed by a couple typical repeats from the 'Y'

6K feet of climbing in 44 miles should fit the bill.

Thanks for a good ride and great fun. Any ride with 3 trips up WaWa is a joy. Thanks CB for setting it up.

Depends on what you want your total mileage to be, and if you'll want more than just Greylock. In my opinion, the north-side ascent beginning in N. Adams (also the greylock tt route), is tougher. The south-side has it's battles, but is for the most part a better descent.
Using the rail trail is also wise for getting from one side to the other. Might consider parking on the trail somewhere, head north or south for a warm-up and come over the mountain to circle back to where you parked. Or - go for the DOUBLE! It's a lot of fun. Up one side, then turn around and come back over
