When there is enough demand. I'm open to suggestions for this year? Any new zwift features we should be taking advantage of? How much higher should the base pace be now that Jimmy's FTP is higher. Formats?

How does JTP compare to CRQ from today's ride?

I think we did pretty good since we managed to stay 1 unit of measure below CRQ

I would like to see a different format. It seemed to be not structured enough. I know Jeremy has some suggestions. It was too hard to be a regular day but too short not hard enough to be a workout. Maybe that is OK but it didn't really work into my training well. I would like to see more like 3 repeats with re-grouping and a fourth that is all out to the finish. And less rest-ish pace in between. So I guess I am saying we would need a different loop to do the kind of workout I am talking about.

Zwift now has group workouts, and it may be the way to go except the race to the finish would be missing.

Has vFMR on Zwift started yet? I don't have a strong opinion about workout format. I thought what we did last year was fine, but if folks what to change it up, that's fine too.

Tomorrow is Richmond. Do we want to do a vFMR using last year's richmond format, which honestly was pretty good?
We can't run group workouts yet, they are still in Beta.
Alternatively we could do one of the workouts or races planned for friday morning:
6:AM EVR Asia race, 3 laps of the Richmod worlds course.
6:AM GCN group workout, looks like cadence drills and sweet spot with jumps
6:30 WBR 4 FLAT Lap race. For a crit workout

What was this format? I'm probably in but I need a workout, 40 mins of tempo or SST or something equivalent

I didn't get it set up in time for tomorrow morning. It looks like the gcn 6am group workout might work for mark and crafty. Should we try that?
63 min workout
40 min at 80% ftp with bursts

For those that haven't been on Zwift in a while I suggest logging on tonight so you get all the downloads done before the morning.

In for GCN workout. Hopefully I don't have an equipment failure like this morning. The race starts and my ANT+ drops out instantly so I get dropped in the first 5 meters. No way to catch the peloton when you can only output 0 watts, so I quit the race and attempted to work out on my own. ANT+ was so flakey I gave up after 20 minutes. I think I can thank Microsoft for the problem - Windows 10 seemed to be doing a background update download that was sucking the life out of my system.

Same thing happened to me with my windoze system with that update. It wasn't until I rebooted and finished the update that it started working again, 1 minute before the race start

So the group workoout mode has a nice "super power" feature that I found today. Again today my ANT+ data was dropping out so my wattage would go to zero for anywhere between 1 and 2 seconds. Those dropouts weren't too bad - I would just fade from the middle to the very back of the group. But one droput was really long - so long my avatar unclipped and put his foot down for a few seconds. This was in the middle of the 3 minute FTP interval so the peloton faded quickly to a few red pixels in the distance. I was still putting out the same wattage and decided to keep pedaling because I already got screwed out of a race yesterday with the same problem. To my surprise and delight, when my wattage started being reporterd again I was as strong as Peter Sagan - I made it back to the peloton in almost no time at all. I wish I had been smart enough to look at my virtual speed - it must have been awesome! So although I didn't get my star for that interval in the virtual world, I did the full 3 minutes at FTP so the workout was intact.
