CLIP IN at 9:00 from Aero Coffee Roasters in Northboro. 55 miles out (and up) to Wachusett Mt. and back. Not looking to smash it but should be able to keep an 18 mph pace on a hilly route. We can make a quick stop at the top of Wachusett to re-group but other than that plan to keep it rolling. Coffee and food at Aero after. Please load the route!

Is the mountain road open yet, though?

Assuming you're sticking with the "rule breaking" direction ;), I may plan an intersect route and join for the Sterling to the Mtn stretch, depending on what Alice would like to do tomorrow.

The mountain road is not open. No idea about condition but there could still be some snow/slush patches and probably plenty of sticks/debris.

Yes Dave, we are breaking all the rules tomorrow.

I've saw people at the top on bikes last weekend. Like I said we are breaking all the rules tomorrow. I believe we will get to the top.

Hrm. Not exactly road gearing, but should we bring gravel bikes...?

If it has 25-28mm road tires, sure.
