Winter Riding / Best Buddies event at Landrys 1/29

I got word from Richard Fries that Best Buddies and Landrys are hosting a social event at the Natick store to talk about winter riding strategies and the Best Buddies ride (on May 30th) that goes from Boston to Hyannis. More info here

There will be refreshments, door prizes, and discounts. Richard has also asked me to say a few words about 'special needs' kids, etc., so you can show up and heckle me as well. Event starts at 7:00pm.

Thanks for the heads up. I just joined MRC and I am also doing Best Buddies ( first Battenkill). My boss put a team together. I have a special needs son who I think will benefit from the program in in the next few years. I have done it twice before and it is a good ride - plus best post party I have ever been to.

I'm a new member as well (Masters 35+) but I won't be able to make this one on the 29th. Are there other events scheduled during the winter? Also, is there a clothing order that is going out in the near future?

Just as a reminder for Thursday night at Landry's Natick. Got this email from Mr. Fries

"Gary,

I have rounded up a huge box of shwag that is actually cool stuff from Planet Bike and Sigma and other folks.

Please round up your MRC guys for tomorrow night.

I've also got a pile of beer I gotta get rid of.

Your help with this is dearly appreciated. "
