Flanders Road/Westboro Workout

Post by rmazzola »

I wasn't awake enough for Joe's 7:00am ride but am feeling good enough now to venture out before the snow hits.
Going to head over the Flanders Road and do some Strength Endurance repeats. These are low-mid intensity but high resistance (aka: big gear).
Planning on rolling out of my driveway at 9:00 and will be on the hill at 9:30am.

Misery loves company so feel free to come down if anyone is so inclined or "inspired". LOL!
Mmmm....pizza.

Rich I just saw this post.
Please let me know the next time you do anything similar.
I like this type of workout.

I'm planning one where I ride up West Main St (Hopkinton) to School Street and then back down West Elm St.
A few repeats of that should be good.

Part 2 of the workout is to do repeats on the short steep part of Winter Street Just North of Pond St

Michael,

Didn't think you'd be up that early. ;)
I'll let you know the next time I do.

:o
Me? Not up that early?

I've already eaten breakfast, showered and driven 35 minutes to work when Kimball gets his wake-up-call.

The morning radio shows on the East Coast haven't even started yet when I'm driving to work. If I try to get WEEI on the radio to find out if the Celts won or lost, I have to listen to the "late night" radio show from Los Angeles.
(It doesn't switch over until ablout 5:30)

Although, on the weekends I usually sleep in and get up about 7am
