Wed Night 5:30 at Stow
5:30 ready to ride. Usual loop from Stow plaza. I need to get home early tomorrow night so will probably just ride to Harvard Center then make my own way home.
Post up if you are coming along.

Re: Wed Night 5:30 at Stow
I'm probably out for this week.
Keep it tight out there.
Try to keep a clean single file on the roads where auto visibility is not good.
We pissed off a few drivers last week unnecessarily.

In for my ceremonial ride out to the first hill approaching Littleton. Will do my social work in the parking lot ahead of the ride so you can drop me in good conscience:)

thought I could make this week but the wife schedule a "girl's night" (for her, not me) - hope to join the fun next week, learn a little road riding stuff.

90% in. If I'm not there at 5:30, don't wait, I'll try to catch you.

I'll be there. And in terms of Michael's comments, "Car back" is not just an observation; it is an instruction. We need to get single file so the car can more easily pass. The driver we piss off today is the one that runs another cyclist off the road tomorrow.

Out for this week so someone else will need to provide the post ride beverage. I'll try again next week.

Why provide a completely boring explanation when I can let you guys invent your own story?
Re: Wed Night 5:30 at Stow
Pattie, where did you go? I waited at the end of the Fruitlands road, and when you didn't appear, I rode back about a mile to the Fruitlands entrance. At that point I assumed you had turned around and headed home. I hope you made it safely.

Alan,
Sorry! I guess you didn't hear me. I was cutting the bike short because I had to run for an hour. Thanks for waiting for me.

Sorry for pushing the pace up to Liberty Square last night but with Alan puncture and my limited available time I felt I had to do something to get some training benefit.
How did the rest of the ride turn out?

complete hammer-fest. Scrawny dudes with body fat indexes so low you can see every bit of muscle on their calves climbing oak hill followed by Giant beasts-of-men going all out on the flats. At least that's what it looked like from the fourth wheel.

Am I one of the scrawny guys or giants? Hmmm.
