Sunday 6:00 am ride from Stow to the Concord TT loop

Post by gcdavid »

I have been rolling easy on this route for the last two weeks. It takes about 2 hours round trip (going about 18-19 mph). This is a no one gets dropped, no attacking, casual ride. At least this is what I am doing. You of course can do what you like. A good opportunity to work on some pace line, double pace line, smooth riding, and generally enjoy looking at homes I'll never be able to afford.

Route is mostly flat with some short climbs. Roads are generally good. Not much traffic at this time.

Tony- this sounds exactly like the ride I did today from West Acton. I leave my house off of Arlington Street, go through West Acton center and get on Central Street, head over to 27, then into West Concord via School Street, crossing Rte 2 into West Concord, then up to the Concord TT loop- back to West Acton in reverse- minimal hills and exactly 30 miles. A nice round trip.

Cant join you this weekend as I am heading to NYC for a wedding tomorrow AM.

Possibly next weekend.......

Su*ked = good thing I got a 90' ride in while watching otherwise I woulda been pissed wasting time on that flick. perfect role for K Reeves = minimal lines, minimal acting.

looks like your ride dried out for ya...

Hehe, gaming the radar map.

At 5:30 I was still hearing thunder in Maynard, map showed more coming so I put in trainer time, watching "V for Vendetta". Looks like it turned out OK out there.
