Wachussett toll road open???

anybody know if you can ride to the top now unimpeded? it's 2 weeks till Mt Washington (Newton's) so i was hoping to go do repeats tomorrow AM..

According to the State of MA, it won't open until July.

Mile Hill Road is open , but not the Summit.

Mt Greylock is open . Eric and Scott Reid as well as Millie M and Dennis Marino did a pratice ride a few weeks ago : )

If the ranger isn't around you can play dumb and head on up. If he sees you on the way down, he just tells you not to go up again. There is a reason, however, that the road is closed to cyclists. There is a lot of gravel, etc on it, and there is one area that is completely torn up. So if you do go up, be very careful coming down.

Also, you can get on the road without going through the entrance if you just run with your bike about 150ft through the woods. That's how I used to catch up to Neal!!
