Sunday AM Ride - fairly long

Post by chadgould »

Anyone interested in doing a ride on Sunday AM? I can be flexible on start time - anywhere from 6:30 AM to 8 AM. I was thinking about doing the following:

http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-st ... 8830328568

The route I mapped starts and stops at my house, but could meet somewhere else along the way. I can only average about 18 MPH, so if you're looking to ride really fast it'd be tough for me to keep up (though I'm willing to try!)

Hi Diane-

Sorry - my mistake. Mark and I were emailing, and I should have put up some of our final plans. Would love to have you join us. I hope that you get this tonight...

At any rate, as Mark said we were just going to meet at my house at 7 AM, but we can just as easily do the fire station in Acton center at the same time. I'll plan on heading down there to meet up with both of you.

Thanks ,
I plan picking up rt 27 in Maynard then following it up from Acton til I see a Fire Station. I can't quite picture where the Fire Station is located ( ? w/ the Police Station , or near the corner of rt 110/rt 27 )

I will be driving this route.

I may have to pass if my Dog's condition warrents, She was just released from the Hospital Saturday afternoon after nearly a week of intensive care. ( Someone will be home to watch Her : )

Hi Diane-

The fire station is in Acton Center - Interstection of 27 and Concord Rd. There is a monument right off of 27 and the fire station is across the street. It's about 1 mile north of rt. 2.

My house is marked on the map on the route with the green arrow. The fire station is right at the end of the street.

If you want, you can give me a call - 508-308-0650 - if you get lost or are running late.

Hope you see this before you head out...

Thank you both for riding with me this AM. It was a solid route, and chasing my kids around this afternoon was certainly a challenge! Depending on the weather, I might try to get a ride in Wednesday evening. I'll see if I can come up with a decent route, and might post something either tomorrow to Tuesday.

We will have to find you a two -four person team for RAAM !
