Masters Sunday: Wells A or Indoor Ride

Masters 35/45+ -- Wells Ave on Sunday. If by some miracle it isn't raining, the race starts at 10:45. Bring trainer and we'll do a Jack Brumm style warmup starting at 10:00. Plan to do a 1 hour ride after. I will post Sun AM in case of rain.

Indoor ride at my house at 9:45AM. 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We'll watch "Race Day" and ride along with Robbie Ventura who wears a camera in the Pro crit at Downers Grove, a national calendar race. This is a great DVD to get the juices flowing. Ventura goes over how to inspect a course, how to get a proper warmup, and then we see the entire race from his perspective. Indicators on the bottom of the screen show his HR, RPM's and Wattage during the race. Also - -incredibly since he's doing between 300 and 1300 watts -- he talks about race strategy, etc while he's riding in the race.
