SQB - Saturday Quad Buster

Post by PJ McQuade »

I'm putting together a hilly ride leaving from Westboro this Saturday that will head south through Upton, Northbridge, and the Sutton hills. I'm still working on the route, but it will feature numerous climbs, including those featured in the upcoming Purgatory Road Race. Duration: ~3 hrs. 18-20 mph. Depart from Roche Bros. Flexible on start time, but no earlier than 9:00 am. Coffee/lunch at Panera Bread after the ride.
To climb steep hills requires a slow pace at first.

We'll regroup after the big climbs as long as you pull us around the flats :D

PJ -

Still in. Won't make it to Roche Bros in time due to my wife's bootcamp but i'll plan on trying to meet over in Upton. I'll head over there and start riding the route backwards.

Oh sorry we didn't meet up - nice little group today. Thanks for coming out Russ, Gary, Carl, Rob, and Damien. We'll have to do this ride again soon. Ended up being around 48 miles, avg. speed just under 19mph. Time to tend to the lawn. Good thing the mower is self-propelled, cause I'm cooked. P.S Damien needs a kit, guy can ride!
