FMR Lite

Post by onegeardoug »

I think most FMR participants are racing Purgatory, so FMR Lite is definitely in order. No pedals will be turned in anger...at least by me. Probably skip the final hill. More time for coffee and banter.

5:30 AM at Guisseppe's.

In an attempt to get a record for the "fastest backing out from a ride", I'm out for FMR. I forgot my plans for Thursday night involve being up until well after 1am. I'll probably ride later in the morning as I'm off work Friday.

I'm out this week as well. My wife needs to be in the office by 8 Friday.

I am IN for the following Friday. This is my last Friday morning of leaving for work at 5:30. After that I can do morning rides with you freaks.

Doug,

I'm in. Hopefully with a hangover if the Celtics don't suck as bad as they did last night. Any interest in making it a race recon for Purgatory. Very easy ride round the route then head for coffee.

@Smudger: Actually, that sounds like a really good idea, assuming that you intend to drive there. I've only ridden the lap once. I have a casual schedule in the morning, so no real rush for me to get back. How about you?

@Chris: What time would we have to make this recon ride in order for you to be "IN".

Wow! 8:00 AM? I can actually make that. Remind me again where Guiseppe's is?

Thanks,

Bruce, the 8:00 was an answer to Doug's question as to when I could go. If others need to go @ 5:30 I'll just skip out, no worries.

If it ends up being the Purgatory loop I'd want to meet in Sutton instead of Northboro in keeping with the "Lite" flavor of the day before race day.

Sorry for the confusion.

I can't do 8am.

I would need to start at the usual 5:30 or 6am. If we do pre-ride the Purgatory course I would drive to the race start location.

John -
I'm riding the course in the am. I could meet @ the school at 5:30 or 6. I just need to peel off to head home around 7:30 at the latest.

That is perfect for me. Let's meet at the School at 6am as it is a little further for me to get there.

I'm out. 9AM appointment came up. Can't get to Purgatory and back, then to my appt in time.

Regular FMR LITE is back on again...for me anyway. I'll swing past Guiseppe's and see if anyone's there at 5:30.

Our nanny can show up early tomorrow morning so I don 't have a time constraint anymore. We'll take the time for you to get to know the course. See you @ 6.

I'm out this week....early customer appointment plus B2B on Saturday.

Back at it next week though. Have a great race at P-tory fellas. Can't wait for the Race Reports.
