Haven't done this in a few years but it's a blast. I'll probably sign up day of, though it could be 500 ft too many after Hilltowns the day before. Either way I plan to attend. Abbey after sounds great.

Two years in a row I've broken the course record and still lost to someone who really crushed it.
This year I'm below 20 rides for the year, I'll be in NYC from Wednesday afternoon until a birthday party Saturday night, but my wife wants us to drive home Saturday night after the party so that I can do George St. :?
For some reason she must think I can go really hard for 22.5 seconds. :o
So I guess If I can make it to the line I'm going for the W and the record.

There's a non-zero chance that I'll go, but it will be a game time decision. I would need to move some schedule stuff around to get there.

I have yet to do this race and might give it a shot this year. Can someone post the link to it? I can't find the info on Google. I assume it's Sunday but what time and where?

Good MRC showing today. We got two on the podium. One each in the 18-34 and the 35-49 age groups.
PJ made it onto the third step of the 18-34 podium a day after riding the tour of the Hilltowns.
Doug, who also rode Hilltowns, and Carl were there sporting the colors.
I went way slower than last year but still got second in the 35-49, and scored the third fastest time of the day.
Some 16 year old kid had the second fastest time of the day. Somebody sign him up quickly.

Great results. Michael, a year and a kid and you're still on the podium - hats off, hell of a finish. PJ, Hilltowns yesterday and podium on a hillclimb today - awesome.

Nice podium pics of Coley & son in Lesli's Flickr set (cycletard).

Thanks, MRC people, for adding some zoom to the event, as always!
