6 hr ride-sat 5.21.11

Post by Pattie »

Della and I are riding from harvard center at 5:30 am and going to the concord/carlisle high school to do the "River runs through it" ride which is 64 miles. Moderate pace 18mph Below is the description.

"All rides pass through beautiful rolling wooded countryside west of Boston, with views of the Sudbury and Assabet Rivers. All rides go through Sudbury, Wayland, and Lincoln with the 50-mile ride adding Stow and Hudson and a few hills. There is a beautiful metric century option that adds Boxborough and Acton and a few more hills."

Hi Pattie,

Love to join you. Maybe bring Alan. What time does the ride leave CCHS?

It is not an organized ride from the school, that is just where the ride starts according to the cue sheet. It is marked with a t type symbol. Should we say 6:30-6:45?

First sign that the end of the world really is today: Overheard at today's ride were the words "Kimball overslept."
