Maybe. Will there be a "lite" option? I'm racing both Saturday and Sunday.

Stefan, there's always a lite option when I show up. Stick with me for a slightly slower version of the climbs.swawersik wrote:Will there be a "lite" option? I'm racing both Saturday and Sunday.

I love when people are racing the day after an FMR: makes me look like a better climber.

Doug, I hope you apprised PJ of bylaw 3.1.2 of the FMR handbook:
3.1.2 Category handicapping. Any rider of a lower category must assume a weight adjustment equal to 10 kg x [(highest category in FMR peloton) - (category of rider)]. If the rider does not assume the adjustment he will forfeit all KOM points and will be required to pay for all coffee and breakfasts at the conclusion of the ride.

Hey Folks - I just bought a cross bike and started commuting this week and am amping up my mileage but am probably not ready for the FMR but am curious about details - do you go from the Stow Plaza? average pace? average duration? Thanks for any details - also I assume the Monday meeting is at the Framingham John Harvards?

Russ, remind me to discuss jersey design with you tomorrow.

Here's the advice for TDF DS's I was talking about this morning. It's funnier to read it than to have me describe it (no shocker there)...

Re: FMR 7/8 5:30am
did you guy's get completely drenched? We had some big T-storms roll through westborough around 6:30 this morning.
Re: FMR 7/8 5:30am
Those of us racing the Attleboro Crit tomorrow skipped the "lollipop" and made it back to the cars just before the cloudburst. Those of us not racing tomorrow got drenched while descending Green St.
The obvious conclusion: racing crits is good for you...
