New Years Day 1/1 hangover ride from Stow

Post by jraguin »

Anyone up for a hangover ride on Sunday 1/1 from Stow Plaza. 2 hour ride. My best guess at a time would be 11 AM, which is negotiable. Supposed to be mid-40s.

Believe me, the pace won't be hard.

I'm in, but could we start at 10am? If you're hungover the extra hour won't matter :)

How about a slow ride out to Ride Studio Cafe (15 miles), coffee, slow ride back?

Sometimes riding when hungover helps, but not when you drink as much as I'm planning. Enjoy!

I am open for a loop ride- looking for 2 hours or so. Stopping in Lexington does not interest me but will monitor the thread and see what pops up.

Better verify that they'll be open. Either way, I'm in...regardless of start time or destination.

Sounds like consensus is at 10 AM from Stow Plaza, ride to Lexington with coffee stop, then ride back. I checked the Ride Studio Cafe web site and they are open at 9 AM on New Years Day so we are in. Weather forecast looks pretty good right now.

Sorry, Mark, but we would welcome your company to Lexington and if you want to just turn around and ride back with no stop that would be an option. Myself, I want the coffee!

Oh, and I have a route that allows a little more social time by avoiding Route 2A. Basically it goes through Concord, Lincoln, Waltham, then Lexington. Adds on a bit but a much better ride for groups.

Jeremy, I never have to plan to drink too much; it just kinda happens all by itself.

I wish I could make this ride, but won't be back in town until late Sunday. However, I have Monday off and will be posting a ride for Monday.
