Burlington, VT

Post by scott_sweeney »

I am in Burlington for work and looking for some insight on two things:

1. 90 minute easy spin/recovery route
2. absent a route suggestion, a recommended bike shop that would provide an answer to question 1??

Anyone with some decent local knowledge able to help out??

Thanks!!

I've biked around burlington a few times, I have done the route that generally follows Rt 2 from burlington to montpelier is very flat and the roads were good. The traffic wasn't too bad, but of course during rush hour there can be a fair bit in areas.
Here is a RWGPS guess on the route one way, any deviation off rt 2 was more the website than choice. That one hill also is more pronounced because the rest of the ride is so flat.
