Wachusett Ride from Stow Sunday 8am

Post by JeremyC »

John Raguin and I will be departing Stow for a 60 miler out to Wachusett, up Mile Hill Rd and to the Summit. The hill climbs will be at race pace, but no issues waiting at the top if necessary. If interested please post up and we'll meet at the Plaza, otherwise we'll meet on the road.

Unfortunately I'm bailing on quabbin. It pains me, I love that race.

Well, at least you aren't a sacrificial lamb in the 3/4 race like me.

Carl, bring a winning attitude and use every ounce of energy to ride at the front. You are a good climber youll be surprised when you make it to the last hill with the leaders. Then hang on for dear life.

What route will you take on the way out? I may try to catch on in Bolton or so, ribs permitting...

If you park at Berlin PnR, you could head over to Wattaquidick (sp?) near the winery and we could meet there

Not sure if you guys have time constraints tomorrow morning. I went out today at a similar time (8AM), it was a cold and windy launch. Similar weather tomorrow, looks like starting even 30-60 minutes later will get us out of the 30’s. I’m in either way, just throwing it out there.

Unfortunately I am under time constraints. I rode at 7am today and it was cold but bearable...

To be clear, 8 AM at Stow Plaza is the start location. Brett is meeting us there, as well as it sounds like Rob is in. So that is at least 4. Brett did Quabbin yesterday, so we will definitely be nice to / do the work for anyone who is manning up like Brett is. Hopefully we will see you there Toby or maybe with Chris at the base of Wattaquadock Hill near the Nashoba Winery.

I'll be at the Nashoba Winery by 8:20am, see you when you get there.

I'll be rolling from Berlin PnR at 8am if anyone wants to join.

Id love to join, but looks like its shaping up to be an all nighter tonight. And not the fun kind of all nighter. But you kids have fun, I hope to get out for one of the team rides this week.
