Saturday 6AM Flat & Easy

Post by onegeardoug »

It's going to be beautiful tomorrow, but I have to ride early or not at all. Leaving Marlboro at 6AM and headed to Concord. Passing Atkinson Pool/Haskell Field around 6:45, arriving at Concord Ctr around 7:15. Probably loop through Bedford & Hanscom, then back. Looking to do 3+ hours, relatively easy. LSD. If anyone expresses interest in joining me, I can post an actual route.

Post a route. I doubt I will meet you because of jet-lag, I don't think I will get up early enough. But if I am up, I will try to meet you.

I'm in Doug. Can meet you at the usual spot in Hudson at 6:20?

Can you post route?

What's the "usual spot in Hudson?"

On board with your proposal, but looking for more like 2-2.5 hrs.

The usual spot is:

http://m.google.com/u/m/BLNxU1

Options:

Park st rt62 park n ride and ride 10 min to meet us there.

Park at Stow plaza. I'll meet you there at 6am and we can ride over to meet Doug. If we then do a 2.5 Hr loop with Doug back to Stow he will get his 3 hrs in by riding home from there.

I gotta ride out and get back earlier. Might ride down 62 and see if I can bump into you, Doug.

We'll probably do the same route as 2/5/12 on Strava:

Bruce: We'll be passing right by your house. You have no choice but to join us!

To do a very early ride requires preparation: lay out your kit, prepare water bottles, make sure bike is tuned and ready, go to bed early and SET YOUR ALARM CLOCK.

Sorry I missed oyu guys, hope it was a good ride.
