5/26 Westborough - 7AM

While it makes sense for the tri folks, who still have to run and swim after their ride (though I'll never really understand why that seems like a good idea ), riding at 6am seems icky to me. So...

Anyone want to ride bikes from Westborough Roche Bros. starting at a more sane hour? I'm proposing 7:30, but could go as early as 7. I'm thinking 3-ish hours, likely out towards Purgatory, so including some solid hills.

Len, we could make this your proposed Purgatory recon if you're interested. The weather Saturday AM looks more promising than Sunday or Monday.

I can't figure out how to embed a route into this thing (yeah, I'm a Luddite). I was thinking something like the ride Carl put together a few weeks ago, with the section south of rte. 16 lopped off (that ride took 4+ hrs., and I don't have quite that much time).

I don't know the roads south of Purgatory all that well, but would like to explore them more. If you have a route that would be good (and would facilitate meeting up on the road) please feel free to suggest it.

We could also meet up near Chris to do "Tour de Franklin"

Sounds good. I think we'll be able to get there by 7:45 if we roll from Westborough Roche Bros. at 7 (small lot behind the store). I'll have my cell with me so you can reach me if there's a problem.

Any others, please post up and be on time - we're not going to have much leeway if we want to make it from Roche to the rendezvous point in 45 min.

I'll be doing the CRW fast group on Saturday morning so will do Purg on either Sunday or Monday. Weather? It's spring, any weather is good.
