Saturday Ride - March 9th

Post by argus »

Can depart from Stow Plaza or the usual Bolton meeting place at 9:00 am or 10:00 am.
Roads permitting, looking for close to 5 hours.

I want to head out, but I am just not sure the roads will be ready by 9 AM. I have to be back at my house by 12 noon. I may drive around in the AM and see what roads look like. So make your decision without me and maybe I will jump on depending on what I see.

Roads are still a mess in my area. Some parts are completely clear... others have a thick layer of compressed slush.

Did some recon and yes some roads are very suckish.
Planning on riding at 11 or 12. Will keep an eye on the board if anyone wants to ride.

I'm seriously considering riding outside. I'll check back in the AM

Drove to Starbucks; the roads are crap. Rt 20 is fine, but side roads are covered. May be rideable by 10 or 11. Maybe later. I want a long ride outside today! May be relegated to the trainer though.

Total slush fest around here, though the sun out makes it tempting. Going for trainer and Paris-Nice.

Must find a way to make an outdoor ride happen today (sun is very warm) or risk possible head explosion and/or irreversible catastrophic weight gain!

I'm going to do the solo thing today due to the slop factor but would be up for a longer group ride tomorrow when the roads are a little bit better.

I am headed to Bolton at the winery meting place/bottom of the hill, usual meeting spot.
Should be there at 12:00-12:10 if anyone wants to meet-up.
