Ride Sunday 3/24

Post by Robd2 »

Just got wife approval for a Sunday ride! Looks like Wells is cancelled. Anybody up for something on the faster side? I always like the wed night Stow loop for these but route and start time somewhat flexible.
Battenkillers: It will be here very soon, these “hot” rides are essential for tuning up.

The earlier in the day the better for me, excepting for cold conditions. WNR route (35-ish miles) plus "extra credit"?

Another option I was thinking about, maybe we get a little crazy. Say endurance pace out to sterling center, intercept our brothers comming in from other locations along the way. Starting in sterling we lite it up on the climbs to Princeton center via 62. Refill the bottles then race pace back. Whose in? : )

I will be doing a fast hilly ride in the afternoon, most likely with John Raguin. Not sure of exact timing yet. We could combine a WNR route with FMR for some serious extra credit.

I like the sound of JC's ride. Time and start location would be good so I can confirm

After looking at the morning/afternoon temp forecast for tomorrow, how does 11 a.m. Stow Plaza sound?

Att: lurkers - show up anyways if you're wary, we can form a B group.

I can't be at Stow Plaza until 12 noon. I would like to get in a full Pinnacle to the top if we can as part of the hiils.

Noon at Stow Plaza. I'll map a route, although they will all be familiar climbs I'd like everyone to review the soon-to-be-induced pain of the WFNMR...

Proposed route but can be easily altered to add more mileage and climbing (for Smudger of course)

What are the roads like? Still a lot of melting snow on the pavement or have they dried up?
