Landrys 7AM Jun 7th

Post by cbusick »

If nobody has a planned route for this, how about riding to Sutton and doing a loop of the Purgatory RR?
I'll post up a proposed route if nobody objects.

This is an official Landry's ride, so has to be at 7AM. I'd rather not do a separate recon ride. Unless we have enough MRC'rs who are willing to lead the Landry's ride and don't want to do recon. Also, between the FMR today, 7AM ride on saturday and 8AM race on Sunday, I'm not itching to get up too much earlier on Saturday.

What is the expected distance for a Landry's ride?
If we go straight to the race start and do a lap and straight back it will be 41 miles. Adding in some different roads to make it more interesting would bring it up to 50.

I think it depends who shows up. We have to be clear that there is an A and B group. That worked last time.

I will be there. I wouldn't mind getting in a longer ride since I am not racing Sunday (due to the fact that I am a fattie and can't get up lackey road)

I arrived 5 minutes late and you guys had already left. I thought MRC had the smudger rule in effect at all times?

ohh, bummed we missed you. It must have been close, since we didn't leave on time. Were the other groups gone as well?

Nah, I caught the Landry's A Group. I didn't really check your map and assumed you would be comming down 135. Looks like you went the other way. No Biggie.
