Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the area (moved from Boulder beginning of July) and am hoping to jump into some group rides as work allows. Brief background on me: I'm a 2 on the road, and have been racing since I was a junior (23 now). I was a member of Notre Dame's team while a student there (09-13), and was fortunate enough to race at nationals freshman- senior years.
Tonight, I'm going to be heading north out from Ayer at 5:45pm if anyone wants to join. The McDonalds on the rotary heading into town from the east on 110 would be a good place to meet. Plan is 38 miles, and I'll probably average about 19mph to keep the ride to 2 hours. Please respond if I should look for you.

Welcome Joe. I am sure you will get others to join or you can join in on some of our more usual rides. I can't make it tonight but hopefully we will get to ride together in the future. I live in Acton so not far away from Ayer. Littleton could be a good meeting spot 1/2 way.

Welcome Joe. Thanks for stealing my Bare Hill KOM yesterday! Seriously though, looking forward to riding with you. Regular Wed PM (Stow), Friday AM (Berlin) and Saturday AM (Landry's Westboro store) are the typical rides.
FYI We have a decent contingent of Cat 3s and 4s, unfortunately our single Cat 2 retired.

Hey Joe, what towns do you work and currently live in? would be helpful for future planning. There is also a very good ride from West Boylston each Wednesday night @ 5:30 (look up Old Stone Church).

Jeremy, all KOM poaching is completely coincidental, apologies! I will be happy to play lead out man if anyone wants to go KOM hunting sometime. I live in Ayer, work in Billerica and, because I spend a lot of time on the phone with Europe, (or try to, they're mostly on vacation) I'm in there between 6:30 and 7 most mornings. I get out usually between 4 and 5 in the afternoons thus my late ride stars. I need to try to get to one of those Wednesday evening rides.

Would like to welcome you in my official capacity as club president. Our monthly club meeting is on Tuesday 8/5 at 7pm in the Bolton Street Tavern, Marlboro (http://boltonstreettavern.com). The meeting is an open invitation and will combine our CX race planning with some socializing and would be a great opportunity for you to meet with club members and find out more about what's happening in the club. There is also a ride going out before the meeting at 4pm. It's currently looking like it will be a MTB ride but there was some discussion about it possibly changing to road.
